Allen (Al) Barna and his wife, Adrienne Barna, look forward to the Oct 2017 reunion of his HS class. Adrienne has degrees from Hunterdon Central HS in Flemington, Drew University in Madison, Rutgers University, & University of Maryland at College Park. After over 28 years in the Counseling & Psychological Services Center at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, Adrienne retired in 2014 as its Executive Director. However, she still works from time-to-time as a consultant and as a trainer of other mental health professionals.

In addition to his HS degree, Al has a degree in History from Rutgers College, New Brunswick; a law degree from College of William & Mary, Williamsburg; and an MBA from University of Texas, Austin. After over 27 years of Federal service, Al retired in 2016 as a Senior Attorney in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC.

After his active duty (3 years) and his reserve duty (22 years) as a military attorney, Al retired from the Army in 1999 as a Lieutenant Colonel. His last assignment, as a reservist, was Professor & Vice-Chair, International & Operational Law Department, at the Army's graduate law school in Charlottesville, VA. He was also a co-author and a co-editor of the Army's Operational Law Handbook (1998).

Al & Adrienne live in Fairfax, VA. They have 2 sons & 2 grandsons.
